Jr Blades 2026/2027

Jr Blades is an introduction to the Traveling Blades Program for the U8 players

U8  players are born between 8/1/2018 to 7/31/2019
The CSC Jr Blades is a bridge from the recreational program to the CSC Blades Competitive program for the U8 players. Jr Blades is designated as a rec-plus program as outlined by US Soccer and US Youth Soccer focusing on the development at this age with small sided game of 4v4.
Players with a birth date that falls within the date range of August 1, 2018 to July 31, 2019 are U8 players.  US Soccer has created a age tool to determine the age group for your player.  PLAYER AGE GROUP/ROSTER FORMATION TOOL  
The program includes a fall, spring and optional winter season. Teams will practice on a weekly basis for approximately 6 weeks in the fall and spring season.  The teams will travel to compete in weekend events.   The optional winter season will vary due to available events.

A limited number of players will be accepted into the Jr Blades program due to team roster limits. Registration and payment must be completed to secure a place on a first come first serve basis. There is not a player evaluation, selection process for Jr Blades.

The fall and spring seasons consist of approximately 6 weeks of training. The Jr Blades will practice together with a focus on skill training sessions and inter-squad small-sided games. 

The optional winter season may include limited training sessions on a regular basis for participating players and indoor (futsal) events.

The roster of players selected for each event may vary; players will be selected for Jr Blades tournament teams by the Jr Blade Coaches based on ability, skill, and single gender. Teams will be designated as Red (Tier 1), Black (Tier 2), White (Tier 3).  

  • Single Age U8 – August 1, 2018 to July 31, 2019
  • Jr Blades abide by the CSC Blades Policies & Procedures
  • Jr Blades Membership fee $520 – Additional fees apply for events-Tournaments 
  • Travel expenses are the responsibility of the player(parents) 
  • Purchase of a Uniform is required approximate cost $110
  •  Practices TBD – Twice a week during the season
